You folks on the mainland think IDX is "old hat" but it's a new toy we just were able to install through our MLS.
To those of you who search for listings, and don't we all - even if just to keep up with the market or dream of someplace warmer when it's snowing - you know an IDX solution is 1000% better than plain vanilla MLS. It gives you options, and ways to see results, and map searches, and personal searches - that we never had the ability to offer you before from St. Croix.
Here's the link to MY LISTINGS, and visit my Coldwell Banker site to search the full MLS, or my Retire in the VI search page.
And, of course, contact me when you find something that interests you. I'm livin' the dream here in St Croix - come join us!

Quite frankly I prefer not to show properties to my website visitors before they register. This way I can see search patterns, price ranges and areas of interest. I think it is more productive. So I have a search form on my website that leads to seatch only after my prospective client register.
Congrats on the featured post and I'm glad to hear St. Croix is up to speed!
IDX is great. I get emails on questions for listings that aren't mine (I'm usually on the selling side). I am going make registration mandatory, so I get an idea of what they are looking for so I can assist.
When I sold real estate tin the Palm Springs, California area, I had a very successful website, but no IDX. I had to manually upload listings and categorize them according to market niche, etc. When I relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii (yes, I do love the sunshine), I integrated full IDX in my website. It's great! I get good leads, and clients love the features. Check it out if you are curious or have clients interested in Honolulu Condos.
